Lately, I’ve been thinking that the course of time helps us to understand it.
When we are kids, things are as they are. They are as they have always been. Our world is immutable.
As time goes by, the beauties from TV won’t get any younger.
Eventually, we are surprised with sudden resposibilities. Slowly, our habits, tecnologies, everything that seemed so certain gets thrown side to the high waist pants in the ditch of the tacky past.
Our world vision – in most cases – change with time. And it gets way easier to accept a diferent opinion when we realize even our own opinions are changing. One day, who knows, we might even think alike the person we disagree with. Maybe with some more time?
As time goes by it also changes our way to quantify it. One year for a kid who has lived only 10 is much more than a year for someone who has lived 22. Life passes faster and our luggage accumulates in a space that cannot grow.
Among deads and injured, the march has not faltered. And considering the recent reports, it will hardly stop. What remains is to enjoy the view.
